Activities you may enjoy this week:

  • Think about where you want to go on your next Boys' Trip. Come up with an itinerary: places you would want to visit, restaurants you want to eat at, activities, etc.
  • Create a bucket list.
  • Build a snowman if the snow sticks around long enough!
  • Use a poster board to create a map of our neighborhood and the streets surrounding us.
  • Pull the parkour prop Grandpa built for you out of the garage and practice your moves.
  • Start your own blog to keep track of, write about, and share the things that interest you.
  • Brainstorm ideas of how you could earn some spending money.
  • Check out this list of 55 movies you should see before you turn 13, and watch the ones that look interesting to you.
  • Think about foods you would like to learn how to make: ice cream, butter, yogurt, pasta, etc. Use the internet or visit the library and get a book to find out how to make them.
  • Start a 365 photo challenge. It would be cool to start on your birthday, so you would have a picture for every day you are 12 years old.
Please remember to record your activities each day in whichever way is easiest for you, and we will go over it at the end of the week. Save things like receipts, ticket stubs, art projects, and writing you do, etc. And last, but certainly not least, take pictures! Take pictures at W.A.C.K., when you go to the YMCA or Beauman's house, of you and your brother hanging out, on your walks around the neighborhood, etc.

Enjoy your week! Plan on meeting with me on Friday or Saturday to go over this week's activities and discuss any changes that need to be made for next week.
